Preamble


WE REALIZE that time causes loss of memory and loss of memory causes loss of ideas, intents, purposes, and principles. Being cognizant of the idea, intent, purposes and principle of the Rev. Z. Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Thomas Broadous Family Reunion and under the wise and capable leadership of our President A. B. Broadous, it has been suggested that we set up some guidelines to be used throughout generations to come as the governing factors for this Family Reunion.

When those of the first generation who have firsthand knowledge of the ideas, intent, purposes, and principles of the Rev. Z. Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Thomas Broadous Family Reunion, may become victims of such losses, and because many of those of the other generations may not have firsthand knowledge of the ideas, intent, purposes and principles and

WHEREAS, the Rev. Z. Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Thomas Broadous Family Reunion constitutes groups of different life styles, philosophy and outlook on life, (especially the younger generation) and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the first generation and others to keep the principles, philosophy and uniformity of the Rev. Z. Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Thomas Broadous Family Reunion, and

WHEREAS, in order to maintain this uniformity there is a need for some guidelines to govern and give directions to the Rev. Z. Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Thomas Broadous Family Reunion.

Be it RESOLVED that we make the following recommendations to be adopted as guidelines for the Rev. Z. Sr. and Mrs. Mattie Thomas Broadous Family Reunion.
